GETTING STARTED

JOIN THE COMMUNICATIONS
Sign up for Mr. Cornelius's Remind and the Google Classroom to receive all updates, announcements, and important information throughout the season. These are the primary channels for everything from rehearsal changes to competition day details. The PTBPA channels provide additional information on events, meetings, and fundraisers. See below for details.

PAY THE ACTIVITY FEE
The 2026 Marching Band activity fee is $275.00 ($225 + $50 for feed the band). Payment options include cash, check, Venmo, or credit card. See the Activity Fee page for more information.

SECURE YOUR INSTRUMENT
Students can use their own instrument in good working condition, or they can borrow a school owned instrument if one is available. Contact Mr. Cornelius for recommendations on local vendors and rental programs if needed.

COMPLETE REQUIRED FORMS
Medical/emergency contact forms ia required before the first rehearsal. Find current forms on the Forms and Documents page.

ATTEND BAND CAMP
Band Camp in late July and early August is mandatory for all marching band members. This is where the season's show is learned and the team comes together. Dates are announced each spring.

GET INVOLVED AS A PARENT
The PTBPA runs on parent volunteers. Chaperoning, hoagie builds, concessions, and equipment crew are all ways to be part of the team. See the Volunteers page for more info. PA clearances are required for student-contact roles.
